The Tale of Despereaux

The tale of three unlikely heroes - a misfit mouse who prefers reading books to eating them, an unhappy rat who schemes to leave the darkness of the dungeon, and a bumbling servant girl with cauliflower ears - whose fates are intertwined with that of the castle's princess. You can view the full synopsis at here.

Princess Protection Program

Teenager Carter Mason and her dad Joe are getting along just fine, living an unassuming life in Lake Monroe, Louisiana -- until the day Joe decides to bring his work home with him. Joe is a covert agent in the international Princess Protection Program, and when he saves one Rosalinda Marie Montoya Fiore, the soon-to-be teenage monarch of the tiny country of Costa Luna, he is charged with watching over her until things in her country are stable again. An evil dictator, General Kane, and his army are trying to take over the tiny country and throw Rosalinda and her mother in a cell. The last thing that Carter wants to do is share her room, and her life, with a snooty princess who thinks she's better than everyone else. Between the mean girls at school and the guy who doesn't notice her, Carter has enough to deal with already. As she reluctantly "helps" Rosie try to fit in, however, she realizes that although the princess is grossly out of her element, there is more to her than Carter could ever have imagined. The two are able to find some common ground despite the opposite worlds they come from, and Carter begins to understand that this princess might actually be worth protecting.

G-Force

It is not all that bad, at least it tries its to be an enjoyable family movie flick. But as usual, Disney movies now are getting haters around the world due to its popular teens and live-action animals-talking movies. So now, when they see a live-action Disney movie whether it has teenagers singing or animals yapping away, they would be put off immediately. Whatever it is, G-force is fun with 3-D. Kids would like the cute animals coming near them.
The story: G-Force has a simple story which is also not creative. But that it is not what kids want, they would want to see action blazing through their ways. As this being a Jerry Bruckheimer production, you can expect at least a car chase and some explosion but only more mild. Trevor Rabin did a good work in creating epic music. Though a kid movie, expect some rude humour but also at the same time, some lessons to teach your kids.
Overall: Definitely not as bad as what haters say. In the end, it is just meant to be an enjoyable fun romp. You don't like animals talking, this is not for you. A good movie for the holiday. Just leave your brain at home if you want to enjoy this.
You can view the synopsis of this movie at here.

He suppose to have injection today but unluckily he still got fever and had taken his medicine and antibiotic so nurse advice to come again next week on 2/11 or 9/11. Hopefully at that time he's recovering. But still he needs to examine his whole body.
  • His weight is 8.9kgs
  • He is 74cm long (nurse said he had 1years old height)
    Hopefully he still can grow

Hubby's back and we are going back home

This afternoon we went to Sibu at 1pm and arrive Sibu's town at 1:45pm. We went to Sing Kwong Supermarket and enjoy our shopping first because we are still early to go to the airport. So we shop nearly an hour and see what did I snap..

Inside the trolly..

Isn't he too tiny inside there.. Ha..

After that we straightly went to the airport from town and took nearly 15minutes to arrive there. Hubby's flight a little bit delayed and reach here around 3:45pm. I saw he carries lots of things even he bought Pizza from Kuala Lumpur. Funny, right?? Guess what is inside his bag. Ha.. Then we went back to town again and continue our shopping at Daesim a place where sell all the equipments including households, (ladies, gentlemen, baby's store), groceries and many more with very low and acceptable prices. We waste lots of time at there. Later then that we went to Parkson to buy Pizza cause it's my brother's favorite foods of all. But little junior is so so tired as you can see the below picture.

Exhausted for whole tiring day..

9 months

Today is little junior's 9 months old :

  1. He's 8.9kgs and still wearing size M Diaper using Mamy Poko and Huggies
  2. He's wearing 2yrs old cloth
  3. He got 8 tooths, 4 up and 4 down
  4. He crawls and exploring EVERYWHERE!
  5. He keeps on pulling up constantly. He get so excited once he's standing up
  6. He starts to learn something like singing and talking
  7. He still likes to bite anything that can eat and cannot been eaten
  8. He talks CONSTANTLY. Especially when we are in the car or in a store and he's in his car seat or bedroom. He just talk and babble. The only real word he say is "dad-da" but he seem to have a lot to say. I'm sure it won't be long until he is really talking and he will probably never stop!
I thought just being pregnant with you and having you in my stomach and feeling you kick was enough fun and joy for a lifetime but the last nine months have been the best of my life.

This morning when I arrive to my work place at 8:15am, I saw 4 unexpected people in our bank occupied with our manager, Mr Christopher Lim at the banking hall. Is our AUDITOR come from Kuala Lumpur. Four of them are ladies with one Chinese and three Malays. They are pretty and cool at the first side. But they are friendly and ok.. They are young and freshly graduate. Today we all had a busy day in our entire life especially our office boy, Mr Shahrol cause he needs to find and get the vouchers that instruct by our auditors since year 2007 and this could never end until 2nd of November. They nearly stay around 2 weeks at here and hopefully everything goes well and smooth. But tomorrow 3 of our staffs will not come because of training (Ms Nancy) and on leave (Ms Sendi and Mr Shahrol). So tomorrow will be very very very BUSY and by the way is Friday again.. Body Check Up

Tonight I brought my little junior to see my panel doctor, Doctor Sim to check his temperature whether he got dengue or not cause everyday he got fever and this fever had with him around 4 days. I thought is a matter of teething but I'm not so sure what kind of sickness did he have cause nowadays many kind of sickness had been found just by this year. Really scary~ First is Influenza A(H1N1), then come to dengue and now chikungunya. Small children especially our little ones can't even tell you how does he feel but just struggling and suffering for help. All this sickness mostly detected to the small children. So when the doctor check everything (ear, mouth, body) and finally the result is OUT. He said just a FEVER but he still need to have urine test to double confirm. Oh well, really GLAD to hear that. By then my lovely nurse, Christina give me THIS. Erm.. I'll upload THIS picture ASAP. Is kind a milk formula that easy to carry especially out for traveling and is COOL. I never see or hear about it but according to her, THIS has been use mostly at the big country and not like here. Haha.. but for me, I think is too small and too little (50ml) for my little junior to drink but is easy to take. No need to add water, just shake well before drink and attach the nipple and ring on the top of the bottle and drink. So easy.. Luckily my little junior drink this kind of milk (Isomil Advance). Lovely her gave me 20 bottles of it for FREE. So nice of her. I'm really appreciate it. REALLY.. Thanks a lot..

Sept 16 a national holiday

1Malaysia, 2National days. I see this as one of the more significant moves made by our Prime Minister under his 1Malaysia dream. On 16/9/63 Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore* joined Malaya, which achieved its Merdeka/Independence on 31/8/57, to form Malaysia as we know and love it today.

This is an opportunity to teach our children and ourselves the significance of the two dates and why they are both equally important to Malaysians.

*Singapore left in 1965 and I have often wondered about what-ifs if Sabah and Sarawak had left too. Would Sabah have been gone to the Philippines and Sarawak to Indonesia? A bit of Wikihistory here.

Just me and Little Junior

Oh well, today hubby is going to travel a lot. Early at 6am, he needs to take bus from our town to the Sibu airport that took around 11/2hour. He's taking Air Asia flight at 9:20am and this journey need to take around 2hours to arrive LCC Terminal, Kuala Lumpur. After that, he needs to take a bus again to Pudu Raya, Kuala Lumpur (that took around one hour) to switch his bus and continue again his journey to Johor Bahru (that took around 5hours) cause he wants to go to Singapore to visit grandma and aunties. What a long journey from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore. He suppose go to Port Dickson on Monday to attend government courses for around 6 days but he change his flight earlier to Sunday cause he wants to go to Singapore. Really a last minute decision. At first, hubby wants to take flight but the fare is too far expensive than he expected (because when he makes decision to Singapore, the times flew pretty fast and is getting closer and closer) so he prefers traveling by bus to Singapore that only charge him below RM100. Is a tiring journey.. So is time for me and little junior to have a really really close relationship. Mum and son time.. Ha.. I'm pretty sure that I can handle this toddler very well and I'm going to stay overnight at my mum's place whole week until hubby's coming back. Yesss..
We (mum, little junior and me) do lots of shopping and of course our great shopping place is Ngiukee. Mum bought lots of shirts for my two little brothers and of course I bought 3 sets of shirts for my sweet little junior. I got snap the picture using my handphone but I left my memory card reader at my hubby's house. So I'll upload as soon as I get it.
