Ok... Where I need to start first... Let me see...

It begins on 5th of September that my hubby's 6th uncle named Uncle Pastor Ping and his wife came back from Sydney, Australia celebrating our great grandma (who is hubby's grandma) 90th birthday. So every each of her children around the world will coming back celebrating her birthday with her. Did you know how many children that our great grandma have? Tell you guys also won't believe it... Totally 12 children standing with 6 boys and 6 girls. Isn't it cool?
Oh well, let me introduce them one by one. Ladies first, can we? Hmm.. The 1st and 2nd Gu Nei is living in our lovely hometown here. Our 1st Gu Nei and her husband is a pensioner, so mostly they spend their time gardening, planting vegetables and fruits then sell it to neighborhood or the church (cause her husband is a pastor before until now) to make their living. They have 2 girls, both are married and stayed in Sibu where is one hour driving from here and another one stayed in Singapore. Comes to our 2nd Gu Nei who open her coffee shop at the public civic centre to make their living and her husband spending most of his time gardening at the Ulu Sarikei. You know what, he is the Head of every each of the longhouses that they always called him Rentap Wong as a respect of him and his Iban languages is the TOP compare with us. They have 2 children, a big girl married to Singaporean and had 4 kids and their big son is a teacher of Saint Anthony School here.

Coming up is our 3rd Gu who lives in Brunei Darussalam together with her husband and 2 beautiful girls named Shirley and Irene. Both of them still studying while 3rd Gu and her husband doing direct sales of kitchen products. Next is our 4th Gu who lives in Miri together with her husband and 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls named Kenneth, Kelvin, Sylvia and Cynthia. Our 4th Gu is a housewife and her husband is working with the oil state.

After this is our 5th Gu who is married to Singaporean husband named Uncle Benny Lim. Both of them are working under same company but mostly Uncle Benny will go to Batam, Indonesia cause his job is stated at there. So he traveled a lot but their love never change cause they always connected through internet. Hehe... Well, lastly is our 6th Gu who also married to Singaporean husband having 2 handsome boys named Kai Xuan and Kai Zhe who still studying. Her husband is a pastor too.

And now let me introduce the handsome boys, our Ta Puo lived in Sandakan, Sabah together with his wife who is a housewife and 4 children, a beautiful married girl and 3 boys. Their daughter is working as a banker and her husband is a headmaster in KK, Sabah school. Their big son who also married to a beautiful doctor, working in Sandakan, Sabah hospital and will transfer to Sibu Government hospital no longer. Next is our 2nd Pa who married to Japanese girl and had 2 children, a boy and a girl. Our 2nd Pa is a cook, working in one of the restaurant in Japan. Isn't it cool? But he seldom comes back cause is too far from here but because of celebrating her mother (our great grandma) birthday, he did comes back. So nice... This is the 2nd time I met him since I'm married. Hehe...

Turning to the 3rd is my father in law who had 6 children including my hubby, totally of 4 boys and 2 girls. My Da Gu, who is my hubby's big sister is married and working in Brunei Darussalam together with her husband. I think just he himself know what kind of handphone he get and he is showing off his handphone to us too. After had it, he is a busy man, calling to his grandma (my mum) or asking me to answer his phone (although the handphone is dead, I mean not function at all) but still he enjoyed his handphone very much. If I need to see the handphone, I still to get his permission first. Haih~ Just he's the only person who knows the handphone battery flat or not. Haha.. Oh well, that is the cutest of his character. Really loves him a lotttttt...

Welcoming Baby Leanne to Our Family...

Early at 5am, nurse had waken me up to check my body pressure and the baby heartbeat. After that, doctor came and invited me to a room to check me. That time, I didn't felt any contraction at all. I'm feeling good but doctor said I had open to 5cm and can get myself prepared and transferred me to the 'ready for delivery' room. At there, I can see lots of female chinese doctor working at there and I feel relief because if anything happen, at least got people to consult or asking for help.

Inside the preparation room, I've got my personal doctor and nurse who look after me cause I'm a special case for them so I need to be watched everytime. By then, doctor checked me again and said I had open to 7cm. That time is at 9am and she broke my water tube inside my tummy so that I can feel the contraction and injected me. After that, doctor asked me to transferred to the delivery room and that time I feel very nervous and excited also. Nervous, scared because I don't like pain and excited because baby will come out anytime.
I can feel the contraction every each 3 minutes and I keep on praying and talking to our baby Leanne to be cooperate with me during the delivery but still I can't stand with the contraction and is really painful. It hurt until 10am I screamed and asked for doctor help. I told doctor that I don't want to delivered in natural way and I wanted to do caesarean at once but doctor advised me that natural way is better than caesarean. That one of course everyone knew that but I really can't stand up that kind of pain. For those who are not mother won't know the pain.
At the meantime, I remembered my colleague, Nancy who also delivered in natural way on March this year to a baby girl said she stand up to 12 hours contraction and I keep on telling myself that I too can do it but I just can stand until 12pm and doctor said I just open to 8cm. I really can't stand the baby contraction and force to push her out. Doctor feel surprise and said they can see the baby's head already and asked the nurse to be well prepared for delivery.
Nearly 10 people includes doctor and nurse watching my delivery cause they scared that my previous scar will effected my delivery. Doctor consulted me on the baby pushing and push the baby if feel any contraction but don't keep on pushing cause will make myself feel tired and exhausted. So I just relax first until the contraction comes I use all my strength to push my baby girl out. I make my try for at least 5 times and at last our baby Leanne comes out.
By then I felt like I lost my big watermelon inside me, and my whole body felt very tired, lost my strength, no more energy even adjusting my body to a better direction on the bed. Doctor was very happy and congratulated me on my new born baby girl. They said she was very cute and lovely. I saw nurse taking baby Leanne to the cleaning room to clean her up and my part haven’t finished yet. The nurse helped me to exercise my stomach and do the sewing part.
After that, the nurse transferred me to the Class 2 Wad together with baby Leanne and hubby too. I knew that whole the delivery progress hubby is waiting outside the delivery room cause the nurse advised him that he cannot go inside to watch me. Too bad.. But luckily everything is going well.

So tonight I’ll be staying together with our baby Leanne. She’s so sweet and lovely. Just like her big brother, Karson Lau.

On my way...

Today is my due date of my pregnancy. Is 40 weeks 6 days already. Wah.. The time really flies but my baby girl inside my tummy still don’t want to come out. I think maybe she loves staying inside my tummy cause can eat lots of things and is warm inside. Haha.. (kidding)
Well, I went to Government  Hospital, Sarikei  this morning at 11am and do checking on my baby girl. Everything is alright and her heartbeat is good. Doctor named Rafidah came and do scanning on her and doctor said my baby girl is estimated 3.8kg. Oh my.. I’m shocked  and surprise cause I can’t believe that my baby girl so big. My first baby boy just 3.2kg and I can’t delivered in natural way. So did u think I can make it this time by natural birth? I can’t guaranteed and doctor also advised at the same time whether I need to do caesarean or natural birth. Doctor scared that my previous scar will effected the baby progress when she wants to come out but I really need to try cause until now (my two times pregnancy) I didn’t even feel being a ‘mother’. You know what I mean.. So I’m going to have a try..
After do the scanning, Doc Rafidah write my report and do some calling to Sibu Government Hosp. Then Doc Rafidah asked me to admit into Sibu Government Hosp cause the facility and services at there is better than Sarikei here. Doc said not too rush cause I still didn’t have any pain on my tummy. So I went back together with my hubby and little Karson.
Arrived home, I make sure my baby boy take a nice sleep first. I’m going to miss him a lot cause we (my baby boy and I) didn’t even separate for a day before. Without his voice and his naughtiness, I really miss him much and by the way I don’t know how many days I’m going to admit this time.
So we (hubby and I) went to Sibu at 6pm after took our dinner at home.  Arrived Sibu, we straightly went to the hospital and I did the registration part first. The nurse helped me to register and Doc Robert do my scanning on my baby and so do Doc Sharifah. Both of them consult me first and asking my opinion on my delivery whether choosing caesarean or natural birth because they said the baby is quite big and is a risk to choose for natural birth but  still can try it on.
Well, I guess I can try it on then because until now I still don’t even try to be a mother yet, meaning I never been natural birth before. So that night I’ve been transferred to a Class 2 Wad that is fully air-conned inside a room because of my hubby who’s working with the government so is specially service to his family who admit in the hospital but unluckily hubby cannot companied me that night cause is the hospital procedure not allowed so that night hubby drove home to our hometown, Sarikei and look after our big son, Karson.
So that’s for tonight. Hopefully I can delivered tomorrow. Wish me good luck…

Bersih

Bersih, which means "clean" in Malay, is a coalition of Malaysian opposition political parties and NGOs with the stated aim of reforming the electoral process in Malaysia. Specifically, they demand the following reforms:
  • The use of permanent ink to ensure that voters may only vote once.
  • A clean out of the electoral rolls to remove entries that are no longer valid such as deceased people.
  • The abolition of postal votes on the basis that they are easily abused.
  • Perhaps most importantly, Bersih demands that all candidates and political parties have equal access to print and broadcast media.
Following the developments, Bersih scheduled a second street demonstration for 9 July 2011, ahead of the anticipated 2012 national Malaysian elections. Plans for the demonstration were extensively criticised by the government and pro-government media, and the police arrested a number of Bersih supporters in the lead-up to the event. After being granted an audience with the King to discuss the issue, Bersih subsequently agreed on 5 July 2011 to move the rally from the streets to a stadium.

Hong Leong Bank Vesting Order For EON Bank Takes EffectKuala Lumpur, 1 July 2011 - With effect from today, 1 July 2011, the entire business of EON Bank Berhad ("EBB" or "EON Bank"), including all its assets and liabilities, has been successfully transferred to Hong Leong Bank Berhad ("HLBB") in accordance with the Vesting Order granted by the High Court on 17 June 2011, completing a key merger milestone. EBB becomes a dormant company with immediate effect.. "The Vesting Order by the Court effectively transfers all assets and liabilities (including contractual rights) of EON Bank Berhad to Hong Leong Bank Berhad as at 1 July 2011. While it is effective from today, customers and business associates can fully expect business-as-usual as uninterrupted service and continuity of our banking operations continue as normal. Like all bank mergers, the full integration process takes a longer time as it involves a complex exercise of migrating all the IT systems, processes and policies onto a single IT platform. Until then, the Minister of Finance has allowed Hong Leong Bank to continue with the use of the name "EON Bank Berhad" for a period of time. Bank Negara Malaysia has further given approval for us to continue with the use of EON Bank-issued payment and transaction instruments such as passbooks, cheques, banker's drafts as well as ATM, debit and credit cards for a period of time from the date of vesting," explained Ms. Yvonne Chia, Group Managing Director / Chief Executive of HLBB. "With this approval from the authorities, we can facilitate an orderly and smooth transition to the Hong Leong Bank Brand. We will over a period of time, carefully and systemically wind down the use of EON Bank logos, documentation and payment instruments such as cheques, passbooks and cards. This will be done without causing undue inconvenience to all stakeholders, nor interruptions to customer service and operations for customers and business associates alike of the former EON Bank. This means payment and banking transaction instruments already issued by EON Bank are still valid for use. All customers and business partners or associates are advised to conduct their branch and banking transactions as usual, until further notice. This also includes conducting transactions at their respective branches. Customers of the former EON Bank may continue to carry out online transactions at www.eonbank.com.my , while existing customers of Hong Leong Bank may continue logging into www.hlb.com.my." Ms. Chia added, "The business associates of EON Bank, from card merchants to recipients of EON Bank cheques, can be confident that we will continue to honour legitimate documentation and transactions using payment instruments bearing the EON Bank name and logo." Under the Vesting Order, all contracts entered with EBB before the effective date of the Vesting Order of 1 July 2011, will be vested into HLB. They remain in effect and under the same terms and conditions as mutually agreed by the contracting parties when they entered into the contract originally. The Vesting Date for EONCAP Islamic Bank Berhad will be announced later. Ms. Chia further commented, "Coinciding with the effective date of this Vesting Order is the start of the new financial year for Hong Leong Bank. We continue to be on track for the full integration exercise and are making confident strides as an even more Market-driven and Customer-centric organisation. Staff are assimilating and collaborating very well, and we see solid teaming efforts to make sure that the merger is seamless to all customers. The Community has received the merger well, and we thank everyone for their continued support to the Bank. Hong Leong and EON Bank merger creates 4th largest banking group

KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Leong Bank Bhd (HLBB) has completed the acquisition of EON Capital Bhd's assets and liabilities for RM5.06 billion, after almost 15 months of battle, making it the fourth largest banking group in Malaysia with combined assets of more than RM140 billion.
"It is an exciting day," a beaming Yvonne Chia, the group managing director and chief executive said, flanked by her board members.
Sending a sense of relief to the combined 12,000 workforce, she also said there would be no layoffs amid the shortage of talents in the banking industry.
"So, within EON bank itself there is tremendous opportunity. When we move towards growing the franchise, we believe a lot of roles will be reconfigured into new roles and probably there will be less multi-tasking," she said.
"Rest assured that employees' welfare and interests have been and will continue to be a priority for the group," she said. Under the new entity, there will be a total of 300 branches and 1,200 self-service terminals.
Both HLB and EON are committed to making the integration as seamless as possible for everyone, she said at a press conference here, today. Also present was EON Bank Bhd's head, group business and investment banking Peter Chow and board members.
With the acquisition, EON Bank Bhd, EONCAP Islamic Bank Bhd and MIMB Investment Bank Bhd now become part of Hong Leong Bank Group.
As for regional presence, Chia said although EON Bank was not there yet, it still led certain segments in Malaysia and this will strengthen the group. She said the group will invest considerable sum in rebranding EON.
On MIMB's licence, she said that under the present regulations they could have only one licence.
"We intend to put into our investment bank some of the assets that are relevant to the investment bank."
However, plans are still being finalised and for the time being MIMB will remain under the group, said Chia.
Asked if the appeal by Primus Pacific Partners Ltd will have any bearing on the acquisition, she said the most important thing was that the transaction had been legally completed. Both the banks will work towards the integration, she added.
EON Capital's largest shareholder Primus Pacific had attempted to block the transaction and has filed a suit via its local unit Primus (M) Sdn Bhd. However, the court had ruled in favour of EON Capital.
