Just me and Little Junior

Oh well, today hubby is going to travel a lot. Early at 6am, he needs to take bus from our town to the Sibu airport that took around 11/2hour. He's taking Air Asia flight at 9:20am and this journey need to take around 2hours to arrive LCC Terminal, Kuala Lumpur. After that, he needs to take a bus again to Pudu Raya, Kuala Lumpur (that took around one hour) to switch his bus and continue again his journey to Johor Bahru (that took around 5hours) cause he wants to go to Singapore to visit grandma and aunties. What a long journey from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore. He suppose go to Port Dickson on Monday to attend government courses for around 6 days but he change his flight earlier to Sunday cause he wants to go to Singapore. Really a last minute decision. At first, hubby wants to take flight but the fare is too far expensive than he expected (because when he makes decision to Singapore, the times flew pretty fast and is getting closer and closer) so he prefers traveling by bus to Singapore that only charge him below RM100. Is a tiring journey.. So is time for me and little junior to have a really really close relationship. Mum and son time.. Ha.. I'm pretty sure that I can handle this toddler very well and I'm going to stay overnight at my mum's place whole week until hubby's coming back. Yesss..
We (mum, little junior and me) do lots of shopping and of course our great shopping place is Ngiukee. Mum bought lots of shirts for my two little brothers and of course I bought 3 sets of shirts for my sweet little junior. I got snap the picture using my handphone but I left my memory card reader at my hubby's house. So I'll upload as soon as I get it.

Dengue

Oh my~ my dear younger brother had admitted in the hospital this evening. I just knew it right after I finish my work at 5:30pm. Luckily my grandpa (Ngu) can fetch my mum and my two little brother to the hospital. Well, my mum is the first person who feel unwell (muscle pain on her right hand and left leg, a little fever) since last week, suspected dengue but after two to three days is my two little brother suffering from fever and body pain. By today my mum saw my younger brother did not have any appetite to eat and tired (sleeping) for whole morning, even want to vomit as well. So my grandpa fetch all of them to the general hospital but doctor recommend them to visit the poly clinic first to check the blood. Both my mum and my youngest brother is recovering and in good condition but unluckily my younger brother didn't pass cause his blood is dropping and doctor suggested him to admitted to the hospital asap. So my grandpa fetch my mum and younger brother to the general hospital straight away and now he's admitted in the hospital. Please pray for my younger brother so that he can recover soon. And guys, BEWARE of the mosquitoes and keep your surrounding clean especially your house. At here I need to share with you all the sign and symptoms of the dengue.

The list of signs and symptoms mentioned in various sources for Dengue fever includes the 21 symptoms listed below:
Dengue fever is an infectious disease carried by mosquitoes and caused by any of four related dengue viruses. This disease used to be called break-bone fever because it sometimes causes severe joint and muscle pain. Health experts have known about dengue fever for more than 200 years. New Sand Toy

Introducing his new sand toys. Pretty cool, right? I love the soft light color, and so does little junior. Of course at his first sight, he enjoys it very much but I think it won't last longer cause he gets used to it very fast. He will get bored if he have it every seconds, minutes , hours, and days. So we always get or prepare him a new soft toys. But I really glad that he likes his new toys a lot. Maybe there are many choices, colors inside that make him busy. I know this toys is play at the beach but at here we don't have any beach so BED is the place called beach. Kaka.. Below is the image of his new toys.

October

I love October. This is the month with lots of fruits. You can have our popular smelly King Of Fruit, Durian, our red juicy Rambutan, our Longan, and lots more. You can have it anywhere at anytime and the price is reasonable, sometimes very cheap because this fruits produce a lot at one time that people make many demand on it. Unlike me, I can have all this fruit for FREE because ever since I get married I move to my hubby's home that's far away from town and here can plant lots of fruits and vegetables. That's why I can have all this for FREE. Hehe.. Nice, isn't it?? Well, is nice to eat but you need to control yourself because this fruits will get you addicted and feel that still not enough if you try one or two. You won't get bored on it but after you had it, you better drink lots of water+salt because all this fruits are very sweet until your whole body will get hot easily. By then you'll easily get sick or headache. So BEWARE and ENJOY the fruits of the month~!!

Suicide

Of course is not me who wants to commit suicide.. I have a great hubby and precious little baby. How come I ever want to suicide?? Is the BIRD~!! Oh well, here is the story. After I finish my work, I drove my mum home together with my little brother. On the way home suddenly a bird flew by and knock at my car. BANG~ (quite aloud sound and scared us all) I think IT wants to commit suicide.. Ha.. But when I drove back I don't see the bird lying on the ground. So I'm still wondering whether is dead or not.. Whatever.. By then I immediately called my colleague, Nancy right after the incident happen to buy TOTO (nearly at 7:15pm) cause is really seldom like this thing happen, isn't it? but too bad is not open on Monday. If TOTO do open, the times also can't make it too cause is close at 7pm. So maybe is not my luck today. By the way, I don't trust in that too (just having fun). I just know that I'll spend my own money on what I had earned and not what I'm win from the TOTO or whatsoever that can make your all dreams come true. Really.. but stop dreaming. Be what you are.. Work hard and sure you'll get what you want..

Family Reunion Dinner

Let me present to you all, my Ngu's families reunion dinner at my great grandparent's house near our town. We have a great times together although all our families member are staying at here. This is where the place we are belong, the place we had grown up with, the place we had sweet and bitter memories, the place that we never forget.. The place we called HOMETOWN..

Little Mini Lantern

Very excited.. This year is the first year for our Little Junior celebrating Moon Cake Festival with our nearest family. This day is a day we all gather round in a big table and enjoy our dinner, sound like reunion right?? Introducing Little Junior's Mini Lantern with Power Rangers wall paper with multi color LED inside. Kind a CUTE, right?? Well, we bought it at the price of RM4. Is good for small children cause the traditional lantern is using the candle inside. So is dangerous especially for small children to have it.

Mini Lantern

At the 1st sight, of course he wants to taste it. Haha..

Ta Da.. This is the actual way to hold the lantern

Happy MoonCake Festival

Every year, on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar, when the moon is at its brightest for the year, the Chinese celebrate zhong qiu jie – the Mooncake Festival.

A typical mooncake is round or rectangular and contains a thick pastry including the yolk of salted egg to symbolize the moon. It is coated with a relatively thin crust. Chinese families traditionally gather outside their homes to admire the moon while partaking of mooncakes. The Chinese delicacy is rich, heavy, and dense, compared to most Western cakes and pastries.

There are various accounts as to the origin of the festival. One story usually told to children is about a moon fairy who lived in a crystal palace, who came out to dance on the moon’s shadowed surface.

The legend dates back to ancient times, to a day when ten suns appeared simultaneously in the sky.

The story says that the Emperor ordered a famous archer to shoot down the nine extra suns. When the task was accomplished, the Goddess of Western Heaven rewarded the archer with a pill that would make him immortal. However, his wife found the pill, took it, and was banished to the moon. It is believed that her beauty is at its fairest on the day of the Moon Festival.

Another legend tells of a “Man on the Moon” who was spotted at an inn, carrying a writing tablet, who claimed to be recording the names of all the happy couples who were fated to marry and live happily ever after. Accordingly, many Chinese weddings are held during the 8th lunar month, with the 15th day being the most popular date.

The most popular legend, however, is related to Chinese history. It says that during the Yuan dynasty (A.D. 1280-1368), China was ruled by a Mongolian emperor. Leaders from the preceding Sung dynasty (A.D. 960-1280) were unhappy at submitting to foreign rule, and set out to coordinate a rebellion. The leaders of the rebellion, knowing that the Moon Festival was drawing near, ordered the making of special cakes. Hidden in each mooncake was a message containing a plan for the attack. On the night of the Moon Festival, the rebels successfully attacked and overthrew the government.

Today, Chinese families celebrate the festival with dances, feasts, moon-gazing, and partaking of mooncake sliced in small wedges with Chinese tea.

We extend our greetings to the Chinese worldwide, especially our Chinese brothers and sisters in the Philippines, on the occasion of their Mooncake Festival, a celebration that many of us who are non-Chinese have grown accustomed to and also look forward to and celebrate.

Lovely him~ Erm.. I meant my colleague, Kui Ann. He makes his top delicious moon cake called ‘ping pi’ for us to share in the bank. Got lots of flavor, pandan, yam, dragon fruits and blue berries with different colorful skin from the outside. Oh well, I forgot to take the picture but he slices every each moon cake before he take it to the bank. The taste is very delicious. We all think that he can runs a small business on that. Hehe..
